To bare my heart

Is to say I’m tired and scared

But at the same time I’m hopeful and trusting

Down to the bone I feel worn

But there is so much left in me

I just need more

Of truth

I’m tired

Because of this and that

Tired of being tired

I’m scared because I’m human

And sometimes the future

Isn’t simple

But I’m hopeful because I know

You made me for all of this

And I believe you

Though even that takes strength at times
